Objective
The goal of the assignment was to create a one-minute infographic animation with the topic of our choosing. I chose to do mine on how going green can save you money.
Story Board and Animatic
To get my bearings I first had to create a storyboard so I would understand exactly how to layout my animation. Along with the storyboard I had to create an animatic. An animatic is a type of stop motion animation wear you gather all of your storyboard slides and show them frame by frame in a video that simulates what you will be creating for your finished project.
Going Green Assets
After the storyboard and animatic were done it was time to build my assets Because I created a storyboard I already knew what I would need to make for my infographic.
Time to Animate!
Once I finished with the assets it was time to begin the animation. I decide to go with a pop-up book and a paper cut out the theme for the animation. I used an old-style paper texture to give all my assets a paper look and on all the assets I gave them a stroke then warp the stroke to make them all look like they were just cut out with scissors.
